Welcome to Week 2 of our clay journey. This week, we will immerse ourselves in the captivating world of clay as we explore various types and bodies. Prepare yourself for more hands-on throwing, where we will concentrate on creating fundamental forms like cylinders, bowls and plates. Together, let's enhance your skills and broaden your understanding clay, making this an enriching experience for all.

This week we will embark an exciting journey to explore the various types of handles, specifically delving into the techniques of pulling and slab rolling. As part of this week’s task you are invited to create a beautiful and unique cup and saucer set that not only demonstrates your technical skills but showcases your creativity and artistic flair. Take this opportunity to express yourself and let your imagination run wild as you design a masterpiece that reflects your personal style.

In this week we will delve into the essential techniques needed for trimming, allowing you to achieve a beautifully finish on your pottery. ​Dive deep into captivating realm of ceramic decorations, with a particular emphasis on the use of underglazes. We will thoroughly explore various techniques and methods firing bisque, ensuring you have all the knowledge you need to elevate your creations.
