
When You Visit

You will be greeted by one of our friendly members of staff who will show you to your table and explain how the process works.

You choose the pottery you want to paint, and the paints you want to use, Acrylic or Glaze paints and you can begin painting.

A member of staff will be around to answer any questions and offer tips and techniques to help you get the best results.

Hot and cold refreshments can be purchased, please no food or drink to be brought in from the outside.

Once you have finished painting your pottery, your pieces are paid for and left with us to glaze and fire.

Paint today and take home with you, after your pottery has air dried.

Fast-drying paint, water based and non-toxic.

Not food Safe, we do not recommend using Acrylic paint if you want to eat or drink from your chosen pottery piece.
Glaze Paint

Paint today, leave with us. We will then finish the process by glazing and firing your pottery piece.

Glaze paints add colour, texture and a glassy sheen to your pottery.

Gives a protective layer over your pottery giving it a waterproof coating.

Food Safe - you can drink from cups, mugs and use plates and bowls etc for food.

Ensure to brush of any dust from your pottery before you start painting.

Use one brush per colour - used brushes to go in the used pot.

Use the pallets to make different colours.

Use sponges, stencils, templates and silkscreens provided.

Mix Acrylic paint with Glaze paint's

Use dirty brushes

Mix paint and brushes in their pots, only use the pallets to mix paint.

Acrylic paint must not be used on pottery that you wish to fire, as it can catch fire in the kiln.

Paint the bottom of your pottery, if using Glaze paints as this will stick to the kiln when firing and can cause damage.

Cost

All our pottery is individually priced. Pick the pottery you would like to paint from the shelves.

We have over 100 pottery items to choose from, so there is something to suit everyone's budget.

Our pottery prices start at £12 and go up to £50 for our very large items.

Standard mugs, bowls and plates range from £16 - £24, but do vary in price and are subject to availability.

We charge a deposit of £5 per person to book your seat, this is then deducted (if painting) from your balance on the day of your booked session.

Non-painters will be charged £5 studio fee to attend
Do's and Don'ts
Collection

All pottery items are ready for collection a week later unless given an alternative time frame.

We can only hold your fired pieces for a short time (up to 1 month) due to limited storage space. Please collect within this time, if this is not possible, please do contact us to let us know asap.

Uncollected pottery will be disposed of after 1 month.
