Cancellation Policy
A studio fee is required when booking a session at The Pottery Room and is non-refundable and non-transferable at the time of booking. Please ensure you are ready to commit to your session before completing your reservation. The studio fee will be deducted from your balance on the day of your visit, providing that pottery is painted. Please note that if you choose not to paint, the studio fee will not be refunded. To secure your spot for any event or workshop at The Pottery Room or at an external venue, a booking fee is required. Please note that this fee is non-refundable at the time of booking and therefore this will not be deducted from your balance. This covers costs to hold the event / workshop. You will then be expected to pay for the pottery you paint on the day of your booking. If you are unable to attend a session, workshop, or event at The Pottery Room, or any external event we may be hosting, please inform us as soon as possible. This allows us to offer your space to another customer who may be interested. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation! Please note that refunds will not be issued for cancellations or no-shows. However, if we need to cancel a session, workshop, or event, you will receive a refund or an alternative date will be offered when possible. It is important to note that any breakages or damage to our products or equipment will need to be covered by the customer. In the event that your painted pottery is damaged in the kiln, or if we accidentally break the product, we will gladly offer you the opportunity to paint a replacement at expense during another session. Please be aware that if you paint the bottom of your pottery and it sticks to the kiln, we will not be able to offer a refund and you may incur charges for any damage caused to our kiln. It is your responsibility to adhere to the do's and don't's when painting pottery to avoid such issues. It is important to understand that we cannot guarantee a flawless finish, even though the pottery pieces do come out of the kiln looking fabulous! Imperfections may occur, but this is entirely normal and adds to the uniqueness of piece. Embrace these quirks as they make your pottery truly one-of-a-kind!
